7th Grade Math Olympiad provides an opportunity for middle school students to develop positive attitudes towards analytical thinking and mathematics that can assist in future careers. There are quite a few Math Competition for middle school children’s some of the notables are MATHCOUNTS, Math Kangaroo, MOEMS Math Olympiad, AMC 8, Shoreline Math Olympiad.  Some competition are school, chapter, state and national level.  Question topics include but are not limited to: counting and probability, estimation, proportional reasoning, elementary geometry including the Pythagorean Theorem, spatial visualization, everyday applications, and reading and interpreting graphs and tables.
