Converting between improper fractions and mixed numbers

How it works ?

1. Use the sliders to change the numerator and denominator. Watch how the image changes as you move the sliders. Look for an easy way to relate the fraction with its equivalent mixed number. In other words, how does the picture demonstrate that 17/5 is  equivalent to 3(2/5).
