How it works ?
The applet below displays a trigonometric function.
Your job is to move the LARGE WHITE POINTS (vertically only) so that the graph of the trigonometric function that passes through these points becomes the graph of the equation displayed. You can ZOOM IN and/or ZOOM OUT if you need to.
After moving the points to locations you determine, click the “Check Answer” checkbox in the lower-left hand corner. You’ll either see a “Correct” or “Not Correct” sign.
If your graph is not correct, be sure to fix your mistake(s)!
Teachers:
This applet generates trigonometric functions with NO HORIZONTAL SHIFT and NO PERIOD CHANGE. (Period of each function generated is 2 * PI .) Only amplitude and average value vary.
