Improper fractions and mixed numbers on a number line

How it works ?

1. Use this applet to practice placing improper fractions and mixed numbers on a number line. Then check “Am I right?” to see if you are correct.
2. Two numbers are randomly generated: an improper fraction and a mixed number. Students are then asked to place them on a number line. A check box tells whether the numbers have been accurately placed on the number line.
