How it works ?
In the applet below, note the graph of the trigonometric function displayed.
Then, write a correct trigonometric function (in the input box provided) whose graph is the graph shown. Once you enter a function, the graph of the function you input will appear purple.
Keep modifying your function until the purple graph lies perfectly on top of the black graph.
You can zoom in or out if need be.
Teachers:
In these graphs, the period of each function that appears is always 2 *PI . There is no horizontal shift either. Only the amplitude and average value of each wave will vary.
